Hello, and welcome to my website, Specialty Serpents. Although I like all reptiles and amphibians, I have a particular interest in snakes. I believe that snakes are one of my lifelong passions and I have been keeping and raising them since 1996. In the beginning of my debut into the hobby, I became addicted right away and one snake led to two, two to three, and so on! As of right now, I specialize in keeping various species of  pythons and boa constrictors.  The primary purpose of my page, however, is education and to provide both the amateur and professional herpetoculturist alike with reliable, accurate, and up to date husbandry information and care pertaining to a variety of snake species in the hobby and industry. I've always been interested in the natural sciences, biology, and zoological fields. In the fall of 2007, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Baraboo ( a two year freshman-sophmore campus)  with an Associate of arts and science degree. I am now attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to obtain a Bacholer's degree of Science and am specializing in Biology.  I have also taken courses in economics and business, which I believe is also a useful prerequsite fir starting not only your own reptile breeding business, but any small business for that matter.  Since January 2012, I have also served as Education and Events Coordinator for the Madison chapter of the Madison Area Herpetological Society (MAHS).   For me, education concerning the proper care of these animals and promoting responsibility in the hobby in the best ways that I can are of importance. That is why my site is committed to providing useful information on a variety of topics related to the herpetoculture hobby and profession (for many). Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my site. Also feel free to contact me if there is anything you would like to see on my website or to just share information about these wonderful animals! Thank you for visiting my site, Eric Roscoe
